September 21, 2025 Welcome to Trinity!

Basic Theme: Inspired by the hymn“ We’ ve a Story to Tell to the Nations.” This series explores the transformative power of sharing personal faith stories. Rooted in Jesus’ parables— simple tales with profound truths— it reflects how ordinary stories of faith can extraordinarily impact others’ spiritual journeys. Anchored in 1 Thessalonians 1:4-8, where Paul praises the church for spreading their faith story, this series emphasizes that our narratives connect, inspire, and strengthen our community. By sharing, we echo Christ’ s storytelling, fostering a vibrant family of faith that uplifts and transforms lives.
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points): The Parable of the Hidden Treasure reveals the joy of discovering something priceless. Our faith stories are treasures, reflecting God’ s grace in our lives. Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 1:4-8, urges believers to share their faith’ s value, impacting others. At Trinity, sharing your story within our church family uncovers joy for both teller and listener, deepening our bonds. Like finding treasure, your narrative can spark awe and inspire others to seek God. By sharing, we multiply the treasure of faith, creating a richer, more connected community that glorifies God.
So What? What“ treasure” in your faith story could inspire someone at Trinity to grow closer to God? How can you invite others in our church family to share their faith stories with you? What practical way can you share your story this month to strengthen our community?
Scripture Reading: 1 Thessalonians 1:4-8; Matthew 13:44( NIV)“ For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. The Lord’ s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia— your faith in God has become known everywhere.”
“ The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.”
