ORDER OF WORSHIP September 13, 2026 | Page 4

September 13, 2026 Welcome to Trinity! 10:00 am

Basic Theme:
In a world of uncertainty,“ The Goodness of God” is a four-part series inspired by Bethel Music’ s anthem that declares,“ All my life You have been faithful … so, so good.” Rooted in the entirety of Psalm 23, we will journey with the Shepherd who provides, leads, restores, protects, and pursues us with goodness and love. From green pastures to the darkest valley and into the house of the Lord forever, this series celebrates God’ s constant faithfulness. Beginning with Laity Sunday and continuing through three more Sundays of Scripture, song, and reflection, we will learn Psalm 23 together while cultivating lives of deep
gratitude and joyful worship. Sermon Snapshot( Key Points):
Building on the foundation of past faithfulness, this message explores how the Shepherd of Psalm 23 provides green pastures, quiet waters, and soul refreshment every day. We will see that His mercies are new every morning and that every good gift comes from our faithful Father. Illustrations and song will help us recognize His hand at work in ordinary days. The sermon calls us to open our eyes to God’ s constant provision, turning routine moments into opportunities for worship and deepening our gratitude for the God
who never stops holding and leading us.
So What?
What daily needs or blessings am I currently taking for granted instead of recognizing as the Shepherd’ s good provision? How can I develop the habit of noticing and thanking God for His new mercies each morning as I recite Psalm 23? In what area of my life right now do I need to trust that the Shepherd is guiding me beside quiet waters?
Do This!
Each day this week, write down one evidence of God’ s daily provision and thank Him for it out loud while reflecting on
Psalm 23.
Scripture: Psalm 23; Lamentations 3:22-23( NIV)
1
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’ s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
22
Because of the Lord’ s great love we are not consumed, for his mercies never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
