October 5, 2025 Welcome to Trinity!
Basic Theme:
In our fast-paced world full of temporary highs, we all long for something deeper to truly satisfy us.“ Food for the Soul” dives into Jesus’ everyday lessons from the Gospels, showing how simple practices can nourish our hearts and spirits. Just like good food keeps our bodies going, connecting through Holy Communion, soaking in the Bible, communicating through prayer, and expressing gratitude in worship can refresh and energize us from within. Starting on World Communion Sunday, we’ ll experience Jesus’ presence through the Lord’ s Supper, draw power from scripture, engage in heartfelt prayer, and delight in worshipful praise. These practices cultivate a deeper connection to God, a deeper connection to one another, echoing Jesus’ words:“ man shall not live by bread alone.”
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points):
On World Communion Sunday, we share communion as a heartfelt meal that connects people everywhere, remembering Jesus through bread and cup. From Luke 22:19-20, where Jesus shares this with friends and says,“ Do this in remembrance of me,” we’ ll see how this simple gathering fills us with a sense of forgiveness, belonging, and bright hope. Join us for both services to experience this boost— let’ s rediscover this“ Holy Mystery” together, energizing our hearts with memories of Jesus’ love and the promise of new beginnings.
