October 26, 2025 Welcome to Trinity!
Basic Theme:
In our fast-paced world full of temporary highs, we all long for something deeper to truly satisfy us.“ Food for the Soul” dives into Jesus’ everyday lessons from the Gospels, showing how simple practices can nourish our hearts and spirits. Just like good food keeps our bodies going, connecting through Holy Communion, soaking in the Bible, communicating through prayer, and expressing gratitude in worship can refresh and energize us from within. Starting on World Communion Sunday, we’ ll experience Jesus’ presence through the Lord’ s Supper, draw power from scripture, engage in heartfelt prayer, and delight in worshipful praise. These practices cultivate a deeper connection to God, a deeper connection to one another, echoing Jesus’ words:“ man shall not live by bread alone.”
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points):
Expressing thanks and praise can feel like a refreshing break, lifting our spirits in meaningful ways. Drawing from Jesus conversation with the Samaritan woman about genuine connection, saying true friends of God“ worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,” we’ ll discover how moments of song, prayer, and openness bring us closer to what’ s important. This builds inner peace, happiness, and a sense of direction, making even routine days feel more alive and connected.
So What?
How can you incorporate more intentional worship into your daily routine to feed your soul and draw closer to God’ s presence? In what ways might worshiping in spirit and truth challenge you to address areas of insincerity or distraction in your faith life? What one act of worship, such as praising during hardship, will you practice this week to experience renewed spiritual vitality?
Do This!
Spend a few minutes daily in worship: sing, pray, and give thanks.

Scripture Reading: John 4:21-24( NIV)“ Woman,” Jesus replied,“ believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
