ORDER OF WORSHIP November 2, 2025 | Page 4

November 2, 2025 Welcome to Trinity!

Basic Theme: On All Saints Day, we honor the“ great cloud of witnesses” from Hebrews 12:1-3— saints surrounding us, cheering our faith race. We discard sin and distractions, running with endurance, eyes fixed on Jesus, who endured the cross for future joy. In 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Paul declares he fought well, finished strong, kept faith, promising a crown of righteousness for all persevering believers who long for Christ’ s return, motivating faithful living.
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points): All Saints Day honors those who have gone before us and continue to inspire us as we run our faith race. Shed hindrances, fix eyes on Jesus— the endurance pioneer— to run perseveringly. Paul’ s words promise a crown for those who fight, finish, and keep faith, urging us to emulate saints by longing for Christ’ s appearing. Yet, we do not run alone!
So What? So, what if the saints are watching— how does knowing you’ re not running alone change your daily battles with doubt or temptation? So, what does fixing your eyes on Jesus mean for your current struggles— will it help you endure without growing weary? So, what if a crown awaits— does anticipating eternal reward motivate you to keep the faith amid life’ s hardships?
Do This! This week, pray each day thanking God for a different saint

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
