May 10, 2026 Welcome to Trinity!
Basic Theme: Spring reminds us that everything is growing— plants, days getting longer, even us. The“ Grow” series looks at Jesus’ simple story of a guy scattering seed that mysteriously sprouts and matures. God is behind the growth, but we get to play a part. Over five weeks we’ ll talk about growing our own faith, showing more grace and mercy, living with real compassion, helping our kids grow in faith, and building a stronger church together. It’ s about small steps, trusting God for the results, and watching our lives and community change for the better. Let’ s grow!
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points): On Mother’ s Day, we celebrate moms and talk about growing our kids’ faith. God tells parents to talk about Him naturally— at home, on the road, at bedtime. It’ s not just for“ church time”; it’ s everyday life. Honor God as parents and grandparents who shape faith. Grab simple ways to do faith talks, pray together, and build a legacy so the next generation knows and follows Jesus. Our kids’ growth is paramount to expanding the Kingdom of God.
So What? How can you intentionally share your faith and help your children or grandchildren grow closer to God this week? Is there something simple you can begin doing to make conversations about faith in God flow naturally? How can you pray for and support the spiritual growth of the children in our church?
Scripture Reading: Mark 4:26-29; Deuteronomy 6:4-9( NIV)

He also said,“ This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.
28
All by itself the soil produces grain— first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.

Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
