Sermon Snapshot ( Key Points ): As Jesus began His ministry , He faced temptation in the wilderness but overcame it through God ’ s Word and obedience . Just as Jesus resisted Satan ’ s lies , we too can overcome temptation by standing firm in God ’ s truth . Lent invites us to examine our hearts , resist sin , and draw closer to Christ .

So What ? Can you identify one area of temptation in your life and commit to combating it with Scripture ? How does Christ ’ s victory give you strength to overcome ?
