ORDER OF WORSHIP March 22, 2026 | Page 4

March 22, 2026 Welcome to Trinity!

Basic Theme:
After defeating the devil in the wilderness, Jesus steps forward with one urgent message: the long-awaited Kingdom of God has broken into history. In His teaching, His touch, and His very person, heaven is now invading earth. This series traces Jesus’ early Galilean ministry as He proclaims and demonstrates the nature of God’ s reign. Lent becomes a six-week prayer—“ Thy kingdom come”— as we repent of every rival kingdom, realign our hearts with the King’ s priorities, and prepare to crown Christ alone on Easter morning.
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points):
Jesus teaches citizens of the Kingdom how to speak to their Father. The prayer begins with three upward cries— Your name, Your kingdom, Your will— before a single personal need is mentioned. Lent is learning to pray these words until they re-order our lives, focus our hearts and minds on Christ, and dismantle our private empires.
So What?
In your prayers, how often do“ Thy kingdom come” priorities( God’ s name, will, reign) come before your personal needs? What adjustment can you make this week to reorder your priorities in prayer? Where in your life are you building a“ private empire” of self-interest, and how can praying the Lord’ s Prayer daily help dismantle it and foster Kingdom participation?
Do This!
Pray the Lord’ s Prayer out loud, slowly, at least twice a day( morning and evening). After“ Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,” pause for 30 silent seconds and surrender one specific area of your life to God.
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:5-15; Daniel 9:17-19( NIV)

11:11am Service Information: love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9“ This, then, is how you should pray:“‘ Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
17
“ Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.
19
Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”
