June 28, 2026 Welcome to Trinity!
Basic Theme: This series explores Old Testament pioneers whose bold steps of faith blazed trails of obedience, trust, and redemption. Their stories inspire us to enrich our faith through deeper daily reliance on God, engage in serving others with the fruit of the Spirit, and expand our faith family by intentionally inviting friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family into the same life-changing promises. As Paul challenges us in 1 Timothy 4:7-8, we are called to“ train ourselves to be godly.” These pioneers model the spiritual training that builds lasting godliness with value for this life and the life to come.
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points): God called Moses through the burning bush to lead His people to freedom. On Freedom Sunday, this pioneers liberation. As we train ourselves to be godly, we respond to God’ s compassionate call, serve by confronting spiritual bondage with patience and self-control, and expand our faith family by inviting others into God’ s deliverance.
So What? What“ burning bush” moment or cry for help have you noticed lately? In what area of spiritual bondage is God calling you to serve with courage? Who in your circle needs freedom in Christ that you can help them find?
Do This! Identify one area of spiritual bondage in your circle and step forward this week— pray with a coworker or share the hope of deliverance in Christ. Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:7-8; Exodus 3:4-10( NIV)

God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God. 7 The Lord said,“ I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
