Sermon Title : Encounter Encourage Engage : Jesus Sends us Out Together Nathan Bleecker
Basic Theme : “ Encounter Encourage Engage ” is a sermon series focusing on experiencing God ’ s presence , receiving God ’ s encouragement as we seek to encourage others , and actively engaging in God ’ s mission . This series emphasizes deepening personal faith through encounters with God , finding strength and hope in God ’ s promises , and translating that empowerment into meaningful action within our community of faith and beyond the walls of the church .
Sermon Snapshot ( Key Points ): When we read about Jesus telling his followers to go and make disciples , it ' s easy to think , " Okay , so what can I do ? What ' s my role ?" But we forget Jesus wasn ' t just talking to you or me alone . He was talking to all of us . So maybe a better question is this : " What can we do , together ?" Using the Youth Mission Trip as an example , the lesson will emphasize how we can make a big difference in our community . Because Jesus ' mission requires all of us . That ' s why Jesus sends us out together .
So What ? What can we learn from this encouraging message ? How can we live as people who go out into the world as Jesus ’ commands ? Will we be courageous and encourage others to serve with us ? Will we let go of the fear of failure and be willing to have faith in God and each other as we seek to engage our community ?

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go . 2 He told them , “ The harvest is plentiful , but the workers are few . Ask the Lord of the harvest , therefore , to send out workers into his harvest field . 3 Go ! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves .

Therefore , since we have been justified through faith , we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ , 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand . And we boast in the hope of the glory of God . 3 Not only so , but we also glory in our sufferings , because we know that suffering produces perseverance ; 4 perseverance , character ; and character , hope . 5 And hope does not put us to shame , because God ’ s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit , who has been given to us .

You see , at just the right time , when we were still powerless , Christ died for the ungodly . 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person , though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die . 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this : While we were still sinners , Christ died for us .

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you ; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria , and to the ends of the earth .”
