ORDER OF WORSHIP | Easter Sunday 2026 April 5, 2026 | Page 4

April 05, 2026 Welcome to Trinity! Basic Theme:

After defeating the devil in the wilderness, Jesus steps forward with one urgent message: the long-awaited Kingdom of God has broken into history. In His teaching, His touch, and His very person, heaven is now invading earth. This series traces Jesus’ early Galilean ministry as He proclaims and demonstrates the nature of God’ s reign. Lent becomes a six-week prayer—“ Thy kingdom come”— as we repent of every rival kingdom, realign our hearts with the King’ s priorities, and prepare to crown Christ alone on Easter morning.
Sermon Snapshot( Key Points):
The tomb is empty and the King is alive. An earthquake announces it, an angel declares it, and the Risen King Himself confirms it: death is defeated. When the women fall at His feet in worship, Easter is complete— our King reigns.“ All authority in heaven and on earth” belongs to the One who taught us to pray“ Thy kingdom come.” The collision that began in the wilderness ends in total victory. Because the Risen King lives, His kingdom has no end— and we live and serve under His gracious, unconquerable rule forever. He is risen indeed!
So What?
With“ all authority” given to the Risen King, where in your life are you still living under fear or defeat, and how can you claim His victory to participate in His reign this week? The women worshiped at Jesus’ feet: how can you make worship a daily response to the resurrection? The collision of kingdoms ends in resurrection life— what“ grave”( habit, relationship, or mindset) needs to be left behind so you can live and serve under the Risen King’ s unconquerable rule?
Do This!
Every morning this week, stand up, declare out loud“ Christ is risen— He is King over my day,” then do one bold act of resurrection life: forgive someone fully, share the gospel, or step into a place of fear with Easter confidence. Live as if the King has truly won— because He has.
Gospel Reading: Matthew 28:1-10, 18( NIV)
1
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. 2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women,“ Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples:‘ He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’

Now I have told you.” 8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them.“ Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them,“ Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
