Elizabeth lives in New Albany and is currently appointed to Lanesville UMC and Georgetown Christ UMC. She is passionate about preaching the word and guiding her congregations in discipleship. Please join us to hear Elizabeth’ s remarkable mid-life calling and journey into ministry. She is excited to bring her message to the men at Trinity Church. Exciting Opportunity for Trinity Seniors
As a part of our“ Setting Your House in Order: Biblical Wisdom for Life and Legacy” seminar series we have Session 2, Facing the Inevitable – End-of-Life Preparation with Hope and Dignity, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 27 at 11 am. Carla Roth, an End-of-Life Doula and Christian Therapist, will discuss end-of-life planning, compassionate Hospice Care and how to prepare emotionally and practically for the inevitable. John Naville, experienced Funeral Home Director, will provide practical information on preparing for, planning and pre-arranging funeral services to ease the burden on family during a time of grief. Grounded in the hope of the resurrection and the call to live with eternity in view( 2 Corinthians 5:1), this session offers biblical comfort and practical steps for honoring loved ones with dignity and peace.
Register in advance at the Welcome Center. Lunch is included; cost of $ 5 is due the day of the seminar.
