June is Clothe-a-Teen month for HOPE of Southern Indiana. This program helps low-income families purchase back to school clothes for middle and high school students. This year our goal is $ 100 for 75 teens! We can do it! You can give donations per your usual method with Clothea-Teen in the memo. Envelopes are available in the Narthex.

Trinity has a famous grand piano!
In 1983 John Richardson and Doris Roberts, both long-time Trinity United Methodist members and members of the Chancel Choir, were invited to pick out a grand piano for the church. Doris ' s husband and John ' s wife both had passed away that year and memorial gifts had been given to Trinity in their honor. When John and Doris picked out a Yamaha piano, the dealer told them it was a " used piano " because the famous pop singer Neil Sedaka had used it in one of his concerts!( Yamaha has a longstanding tradition of allowing famous artists to use its pianos in concerts.) John was reminded of this fun fact about the notable musical pedigree of Trinity ' s grand piano earlier this year when Neil Sedaka passed away on February 27th.

We are so thankful for our staff and families as we end another preschool year celebrating with 17 PreK graduates! They are looking forward to new adventures in Kindergarten throughout the tri-county area. Keep an eye out for painted lady butterflies. We watched the metamorphosis process in April and May, releasing dozens of butterflies the second to last week of school. Summer Camp for 28 preschoolers begins on Monday, June 1st and runs through Friday, July 17th. Continue to drive safely in the parking lot for our preschool community as we learn together over the next seven weeks. We still have a few part-time spots in all our fall classes, but no availability for early or late care.
