Continued from page 1 – enjoying the journey
Church expenses for staff, facilities, outreach, and programs continue every single day. Your continued generosity, especially during these vacation months, makes a difference. Thank you for continuing to give faithfully.
Also, our Parking Lot Capital Project is moving forward and should be completed in late July or early August. This $ 201,000 improvement will make our campus safer and more welcoming for everyone. Please prayerfully consider what you might contribute to help fund this important project. We hope everyone who calls Trinity Church home will participate.
This summer, I’ ve been so encouraged by how many of you have leaned into our eight-part sermon series, Pioneers of Promise. We kicked it off on June 7 and will wrap up on July 26. Through these messages, we are walking alongside Old Testament pioneers whose bold steps of faith blazed trails of obedience, trust, and redemption. Their stories challenge and inspire us to deepen our own daily walk with God, serve others with the fruit of the Spirit in practical ways, and grow our faith family by inviting others to experience these same life-changing promises.
As Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy 4:7-8, we’ re called to“ train ourselves to be godly.” These pioneers show us what that training looks like in real life, both now and for eternity. I’ ve loved hearing your reflections and seeing how these stories are impacting your hearts.
Summer pulls us in different directions, but I want to encourage you to keep showing up. Our Sunday gatherings, small groups, and Sunday School classes are about real relationships; building connections, supporting one another, and reminding each other that we’ re better together. We need each other. When you’ re not present, our church family feels incomplete. Whether it’ s worship on Sunday morning, a small group conversation during the week, or Sunday School, your presence matters. These are the spaces where faith grows deeper and community feels like home.
Friends, let’ s keep leaning into this season together. Keep coming, keep connecting, keep giving as you’ re able, and keep inviting others to join us. God is at work in our midst, and I’ m grateful to walk this journey with you.
The invitation extended by Jesus to his earliest disciples continues to be offered to us,“ Follow me.” Will we extend that invitation to others? We may not always know where we are going, but we know who we are following. God is faithful. Therefore, we expect great things, and we are certain we will enjoy the ride! Blessings!
