what’ s with the shape of our church building?
In 1955, the congregation accepted the recommendation of the District Relocation Committee to relocate at 2796 Charlestown Road in New Albany. Plans were drawn and the cornerstone was laid on September 8, 1957. The finished project was to be in the form of the Alpha-Omega Greek letters when viewed from the air.( Apha( A) and Omega())
To read about " Alpha and Omega " focus on the Book of Revelation( 1:8, 21:6, 22:13), where God and Jesus identify themselves as the first and last, the beginning and the end, using the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet to signify completeness and sovereignty over all time. Also, look to
Arial view of Trinity Church the Old Testament books of Isaiah( 44:6, 48:12) for parallel descriptions of God as the first and the last.
