looming at trinity news and update
Thanks for all the donation of bags ! Please come and weave mats in September ! It is a fantastic way to bring a friend or neighbor to Trinity , make new friends and visit with people while making plarn ( plastic yarn ) and weaving .
As of the end of August we have given 17 mats to Love Unlimited for the unhoused in our community .
Weaving will be done each Tuesday morning in September from 9am-12 noon in Mission Depot ( rooms 31-32 ). On September 3 , come before the UMW meeting , and on September 24 before the Last Tuesday Book Club , weave for a while then attend the meeting .

the trinity hospitality team needs your help !
If you see someone in your service that may be new , ask how long they have been coming to Trinity . If they are new ask if they have received a Welcome Bag yet . If they haven ’ t , please get them one from the Welcome Center , the bags are white and are under the counter . Add a current newsletter to the bag . Have them put their name and phone or their email on the clipboard at the Welcome Center . And be sure to welcome them to Trinity . relay for life luminaria
On Sept . 1 and 8 , I will be selling luminaria in honor of or in memory of those who have heard the words , “ You have Cancer ”. In the Gathering Area , I will display the bags of Trinity cancer survivors . Again , the goal is to have all of them represented at Relay for Life on Sept . 14 at Jeff High . All donations go to help fight cancer and cancer research . Checks / donations need to be made out to ACS Relay for Life . Thank you , Jan McCauley .
